As part of our family sports day we would like to introduce another family event.

Introducing the The Six-Legged Pentathlon as seen on Squid Game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Je4tiUokSDY (no blood)

Rules of the Six-Legged Pentathlon:
  • The Structure:
Teams of 5 players are tied together, requiring intense coordination to move between stations.

  • The Mini-Games:
The pentathlon consists of five specific games that require precision and skill:

  1. Ddakji (DG): Flipping a folded paper tile.
  2. Flying Stone (Biseokchigi): Throwing a stone to hit targets.
  3. Gonggi: A Korean variant of jacks, picking up pieces while throwing one in the air.

  5. Jegi-chagi: Kicking a small, weighted object multiple times without it hitting the ground.

The Goal: The quickest team to complete their assigned mini-games and cross the finish line before time expires win.

Teams that don't finish in time will be executed (not really) by water gun.

2. Two child family members

Each team is only permitted a maximum of the following
1. Two non-family members (ringers)
2. Two adult family members

Teams with a grand parent included can skip one of the 5 tasks.
