In order to do this, and give the local children a chance to participate we need volunteers to come forward. No training is necessary, as it will be provided.
The roles we are seeking are as follows:

Race/Event Director x 1
Event Manager/Coordinator x 1
Logistics/Operations Manager x 1
Volunteer Coordinator/Marshall Manager x 1
Referees/Officials x 1
Starter x 1
Judges/Recorders x 4
Marshall/Course Marshal x 4
Medical/First Aid Staff x 2
Registration/Packet Pickup Staff: x 4
Security Staff x 4
Set-up/Tear-down Crew x 8
Announcer/MC x 1
Awards/Ceremony Coordinator x 1
Concession/Hospitality Staff x 1
Runner Services/Water Station Attendants x 4
In particular, we are seeking experience personnel to coordinate the more technical events in the following events
1. Discus
2. Shot Put
3. Javelin
4. Hurdles
If you are considering entering a child in an event, please also consider volunteering on the day, because if you don't there may not be an event for your child to enter.
